I hope you are enjoying this burst of springtime with the sun doing its shiny thing, the birds singing every song they know and the warmer temperatures shooing away the mounds of snow. I’m overcome by a desire to walk for miles on end, plant vegetables, build a chicken coop and other outdoor activities that will require me to rearrange my lifestyle, but will be oh-so-worth-it! A friend and I, well, mostly I, decided to take up rock climbing as a prophetic act that symbolizes the mountains we can overcome together. Never stop dreaming. Right?! Springtime is nature’s way of reminding us to revisit our dreams and goals.
That's what Tapestry will be doing Sunday, March 31. I invite you to attend service at 10 AM, then stay for our Annual Meeting & Lunch!
Come be a part of this important time to collectively dream, envision and participate in what God is up to in our Tapestry family.
We are so incredibly excited about this dream to live following Jesus together, participating in the Spirit's work in our own lives, our church family and our neighborhoods. It is a shared dream. And your voice, and prayers, are needed.
Would you join us in a time of listening, discerning, and envisioning? Dream with us...
...If we fully live Jesus-pursued lives, what would we look like?
...What are we deeply longing for?
...What are our neighbors longing for?
...What is the unique expression of the church for the people in this unique area?
...What are we passionate about?
...What gifts and talents do we have to share that make us feel alive?
I believe the Spirit is at work today birthing something beautiful in Tapestry. Please hold our church in prayer, always, and in particular, this coming week. Then, come next Sunday. Bring heart, your passion and share in our unique vision!
See you Sunday!
