Fuze is a space for youth to ask questions and explore biblical answers as they fall in love with Jesus. We encourage respect for one another so that Fuze can be a safe place for those who want to experience the love of God. Fuze is a night of laughter, games, teaching and worship. There are opportunities for practical, Holy Spirit-led ministry.
We recently went to Burnsville Center armed with $5 Caribou Coffee gift cards. We asked the Holy Spirit to lead us to people who He wanted to tangibly bless. Then we split into two groups and with a leader, the youth walked out into the mall. It was so beautiful to see the kids listen to God within them guide them to people He wanted to bless. They told them God loved them, then handed them the gift card and asked them if they could pray for them. Repeatedly, the person would tear up as they told what this meant to them in the moment. The youth all said this was so fun! They loved hearing from God and watching Him use them to bless others.
Upcoming Fuze Events
On Wednesdays, Feb. 27, March 20 and April 24 (7:30-9 PM), youth are invited to come play in an open gym at Eagle View Elementary. The youth have been cooped up playing video games for far too long! Give yourself and them an opportunity to release the tension. Drop them and their friends off at Eagle View Elementary and our trained leaders will ensure that they have a good time.
Fuze youth will again participate in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. Area youth groups will gather together to raise money to fight hunger around the world. Tapestry’s Youth Director, Nicolette Benoit, will be leading the talk on Friday night. This is an opportunity for youth to become part of something bigger than themselves to make a difference. Our youth have set the goal to raise $300. You can support them with prayer and donations, which can be made online.
In late July, there will be a Vineyard Twin Cities Youth Missions Trip. Youth from all over the country will converge upon the Twin Cities to minister to the marginalized. Nicolette will be taking youth from our area.
